buns from home was born out of lockdown. Founder Barney said that, at the time, he was at a loose end, missing working and baking and decided to start making fresh pastries for his neighbours from his mum’s kitchen.

Having printed flyers and distributing them to his neighbours, he was almost instantly overwhelmed with orders and soon had to ask for the help of his younger brother Gabriel with the deliveries.

Not long after, they had a small army of Barney’s friends turning up each morning with bikes to deliver their pastries too.

Due to popularity and amazing crowdfunding from across the country, they opened their first shops just off Portobello Road and on Holland Park Avenue, and now at The Yards!
