According to our research, a whopping 70% of Londoners value good conversation during their first dates, while just under half aim to have a fun time. Delving deeper, our study explored various dating activities and people’s attitudes towards them and found that a traditional meal at a restaurant remains the top choice for over 60% of Londoners. However, a significant portion of Londoners (41%) yearns for more adventurous experiences, such as pasta/pizza making, ice cream tasting (36%), and cooking courses (33%).
Activity-based dates have numerous benefits, including breaking down barriers and fostering natural conversations, as reported by over half (58%) of Londoners. Furthermore, 89% of respondents stated that they are more likely to continue dating someone who plans a more adventurous date or meetup, as it helps alleviate those first-date jitters.
